Seaford School District will be REMOTE for students on Friday, February 12

The Seaford School District will operate on a fully REMOTE schedule for students today, Friday, February 12th due to the inclement weather. There will be no students reporting to schools today. All instruction will be remote. Please make sure students login to their classes for assignments and meetings. Our food trucks are NOT operating. Board of Education Public Meeting

There will be a Board of Education Public Meeting on Monday, October 5, 2020.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be available via the following

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL

Supervision for students will begin at 9:00 am and dismissal will start at 2:30 pm. Students may arrive no earlier than 9:00 am, and instruction begins at 9:15 am.
Car riders will be dropped off at the back of the building from 9:00-9:15 am via McKean Street. The car line will close promptly at 9:15 am. Parents must sign-in tardy students at the main office.

Car riders will be picked up in the afternoon at the same car line at the back of the building. Car line dismissal starts as soon as the buses depart – approximately 2:40 pm. The car line will close at 3:00. Please be considerate of fellow drivers and be patient as we safely match children with vehicles. This process may be slower than typical due to the adherence of social distancing guidelines. Please be patient as we work through these changes.

If for any reason you need to pick your child up from school early, please arrive to sign your child out by 2:00 pm. Student dismissals cannot be changed after 2:00 PM for the safety of our students and sanity of our staff.

DOE Releases Student Success Webinars

The Delaware Department of Education has created 17 Delaware Student Success webinars which is now live and posted on the Delaware Student Success web site. A pdf listing of the session is attached to this announcement. All info, including descriptions and zoom registration info is here: www.delawarestudentsuccess.org. These sessions are for students and families. School counselors, other educators, community orgs are certainly welcome to attend.

DOE has a master calendar on the homepage, which includes our webinars, as well as admissions events from our DE IHEs, and StandByMe financial aid/FAFSA/scholarship virtual sessions.
